Look here people...and by people I mean all people who have engaged in soe sort of flame war, didn't bother reading the date on a topic before posting in it, or even didn't bother reading the topic starter's full post before going on some sort of tangent about how they're an idiot.

Look, there are a few unwritten rules to posting in forums that I'm now going to go ahead and SHOW you guys now.

1. READ.

This is the biggest pet peeve of mine. Some idiots liek to just read bits and peices of a post before going ahead and calling the poster an idiot for saying something they never said.

Here's an example.

"Personaly, I feel that God is with us always, the entire idea of us having to go to church to worship him seems a bit excessive." (Not my personal View, just an example)
Idiot Response:
"Atheist fag."

Don't be a dumbass, read the whole thing, and don't draw conclusions that aren't there.

2. PAY ATTENTION

Sometimes an idiot before you bumps a year old topic or even a topic a few months old that noboy gives a shit about anymore. Pay attention to the last posts in the topic...don't keep these old topics going...they're mopnths old because they're NOT good topics, have become flame wars, or were bound to be locked.

3. NOBODY WINS AN ARGUEMENT OVER THE INTERNET

Don't flame...it's pretty simple. I fully support debate and intellectual discussions...but when it becomes a "You're an idiot." "No U." conversation, just...stop. If one guy decides to call you a redneck fucktard, just let him do it...not like you're going to lose STREET cred for letting someone insult you over the internet without response.

Follow these rules, become a better poster, and more people on the Forum will accept you. Trust me on this, I myself am a veteran of the dark underbelly of the General Forum...I know what I'm talking about.
